The College of William and Mary hosted another successful Celebration Event with Fear 2 Freedom! This event, sponsored by Kappa Kappa Gamma and Delta Chi, assembled F2F Aftercare Kits for Avalon Center and The Children's Hospital of the King's Daughter Norfolk.
The Washington Redskins Cheerleaders hosted a Celebration Event with Fear 2 Freedom at FedEx Field. The cheerleaders assembled 150 Aftercare Kits that were distributed among hospitals and community partners in Maryland and Northern Virginia.
Fear 2 Freedom and Regent University work together on their 3rd Annual Celebration Event. At this event, students are able to make a tangible difference by assembling aftercare kits for survivors of sexual assault.
Fear 2 Freedom had the opportunity to be a part of the Sexual Assault Awareness and Survivor Care Community Service Event on Capitol Hill. We were honored to be a part of such an amazing event and to help raise awareness on the topic of sexual assault.
This past Friday, September 9th, Fear 2 Freedom kicked off the fall semester with a Celebration Event at the New College Institute in Martinsville, Virginia. Fear 2 Freedom partnered with Longwood University, Southside Survivor Response Center, United Way, Bikers Against Child Abuse, and Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital to put together 200 Aftercare Kits for sexual assault survivors.
Christopher Newport University hosts Fear 2 Freedom's "Be the Change" educational program on sexual assault intervention, prevention, and awareness.
Fear 2 Freedom's Be the Change Film, produced and directed by Mari Bonnemaison, is nominated for a regional Emmy in the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter. This film is a part of Fear 2 Freedom's Be the Change National Campaign.
This past Tuesday on November 10th, Fear 2 Freedom ended its fall event season with an incredible event at Radford. With over 400 students in attendance, the first F2F Celebration Event at Radford can be remembered as a huge success!
