Rosemary Trible | Founder & President
Rosemary Trible, founder and President of Fear 2 Freedom, has dedicated her life to public service and investing the values of excellence and leadership in the next generation. She is the wife of former US Senator and Congressman, Paul Trible, who has served as the President of Christopher Newport University for the last twenty years.
As the First Lady of CNU, Rosemary has played an active role in the lives of college students. In addition to her public life, Rosemary is devoted to walking alongside young women to inspire them to lead fulfilled lives, empower them to overcome past challenges, and serve others, changing this world for good.
Rosemary’s passion to help others overcome trials comes from her own experience of hardship. At 25 years old, she was violently raped at gunpoint, shortly after hosting a television talk show on sexual assault. In her book, “Fear to Freedom,” Rosemary accounts her journey to freedom from this tragic experience through forgiveness and sharing her story with others. She has dedicated her life to seeing others find restored joy and walk the path to healing from fear to freedom.
